VOORDELEN: Kort gezegd is de locatie het grootste pluspunt van deze accommodatie. Het ligt vlakbij station Maastricht, op slechts 7-8 minuten lopen. De kamerprijs, inclusief ontbijt, is zeer betaalbaar. Je kunt ook gebruikmaken van een hoogwaardige droge sauna en hammam (naar Nederlandse maatstaven) voor € 22,50, wat een heerlijke ontspannende ervaring was. Het personeel bij de receptie en de bar was erg vriendelijk. Ik was vooral onder de indruk van hoe kalm en vriendelijk ze iedereen hielp, zelfs toen er een rij gasten stond te wachten. NADELEN: Ik verbleef in een privékamer, niet in een slaapzaal, maar door het gebrek aan geluidsisolatie was het een ZEER onprettig verblijf; ik werd meerdere keren 's nachts wakker. Mijn kamer lag direct naast de deur van de gemeenschappelijke ruimte naar de gang. Ik kon de hele nacht duidelijk het geluid horen van mensen die hun keycards door de scanner haalden en de deur die dichtsloeg, waardoor het onmogelijk was om rustig te slapen. Bovendien was de kamer ijskoud. Ik probeerde de verwarming aan te zetten via de airconditioning, maar zelfs op de hoogste stand bleef het zo koud dat ik met mijn jas aan moest slapen. Zelfs met het milde aprilweer voelde het buiten warmer aan dan binnen in de kamer. Tot slot waren de hygiëne en het onderhoud teleurstellend. De badkamer had een unieke open douche-indeling, maar de wastafel en het zitgedeelte waren vies. Zelfs de stoelen in de kamer zagen er niet schoon uit.

Een erg leuk hostel met goede service. Het personeel staat altijd klaar om te helpen. Een relaxte plek met fijne gemeenschappelijke ruimtes. Ook nog eens goed gelegen.
