Het duurde anderhalf uur voordat het ontbijt arriveerde. Onacceptabel. Sommige porties waren bovendien ongelooflijk klein. Al met al erg teleurstellend en veel te weinig personeel gezien de mooie locatie. We zijn ontevreden.

Dit is alles wat er mis is met de eetcultuur in Amsterdam. Extreem dure, kleine, smakeloze porties zonder enige inspiratie. We waren met een groep van acht personen op een zondag. Het duurde anderhalf uur voordat we onze gerechten kregen, die bovendien helemaal niet lekker waren. Ik had een chip die nergens naar smaakte en betaalde 5 euro voor het dunste stukje halloumi ooit op een flauw, mini-sandwichje. Onze koffie was ook lauw tot koud. We betaalden 5 euro voor een mini-cola. Het personeel was vriendelijk, maar de bediening was helaas erg traag. We merkten dat niemand om ons heen eten kreeg. Al met al snap ik de hype rond deze plek niet. De locatie is wel prachtig, maar je betaalt eigenlijk voor de locatie en de sfeer.

It sounds like we missed the mark on several fronts that day, and that’s something we take seriously. While we put a lot of care into our menu and ingredients, it’s clear that this didn’t come across in your visit, and that’s on us to reflect on and improve. Heerlijk eten, de bediening was wel wat traag (glazen werden snel leeggedronken), maar het was dan ook erg druk. Het was een goede ervaring en zeker een bezoek waard.
